Our Story

At Healthtastic Juice, we create all-natural, cold-pressed juices with passion, empathy, and love—continuing a family tradition that began in the rural markets of Chalatenango with our founder Sara Maldonado's grandmother. Inspired by her belief in natural remedies for good health, Sara brings those values to Canada, crafting fresh, nutrient-rich juices that celebrate cultural traditions while empowering wellness. With locally sourced ingredients and a commitment to sustainability, Healthtastic offers a refreshing way to stay healthy, one bottle at a time.

“My grandmother believed in Natural Remedies to Sustain good health,” Sara says. “She made homemade juice and would walk every day to a village market in a rural area of Chalatenango to sell them to her local customers.”

“Each vegetable and fruit have different healing properties and work in different ways to sustain good health,” she says. “the earth provides everything that we need. vegetables and fruit are essential to nourish our bodies.”

In July 2022 Sara officially launched Healthtastic Juice Company, with a line of six all-natural, cold-pressed juices, made with fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices.

The vibrant colours, fresh taste and seasonings based on her family recipes make these juices both delicious and utterly unique.

Healthtastic juices are organic, vegan and gluten-free with no additives or added sugar.

Verde’s deep green colour comes from spinach and celery juice, sweetened with apple and pineapple juice and featuring a kick of ginger.

Naranja is a blend of orange and carrot juice with turmeric and cinnamon.

Rojo features bright red beet juice mixed with apple juice, nutmeg, cloves and allspice.

Lima blends kale, celery, apple and pineapple juice, and ginger.

Amarillo’s tang comes from lemon, orange, carrot and apple juice seasoned with mint, ginger and anise.

Piña brings together lemon, pineapple, orange and apple juices with turmeric, coriander, mint and ginger.
